Did you know that you can dramatically change the visual appeal of your Heritage Softail, Fatboy, or Touring model by simply changing the wheel diameter from 16” (which is the stock size) to 18”? It’s true! With no modifications to the motorcycle, other than tires, you can “plus size” the wheel from 16” to 18” giving more visibility to the wheel, and less to the tire. Initially people think, “well if the diameter of the wheel gets bigger, then the diameter of tire will get bigger too” – but it’s not! When you increase the diameter of the wheel, you are also decreasing the height of the tire sidewall – so the overall rolling diameter of the tire changes very little – just a few millimeters – so everything will go right back the way it was!

When you install an 11 ½” rotor over a 16” wheel, it simply covers too much of the wheel. Go to an 18” wheel and see more “BLING”!
